Question about recording from my DVR

Hi,

I'm a newbie, but not completely computer illiterate.  My question though, I'm sure is not as simple as it seems.

I have a Comcast HD DVR Motorola DCT6412.  My children have every episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cartoon recorded on the DVR.  I want them OFF my DVR as I have no room for anything else.  I'm wondering if this is possible and if so, how.  I don't want to lose those Mickey's as part of my sanity will likely go with them.

You can plug the DVR video and audio outs into a VCR player or DVD recorder and play them on the DVR and record them on whatever device you use.  You'll have to do it real-time.   So, each 1/2 hour episode will take 1/2 hr. to record, for example.
