Docs on how 6412 stores recording schedule

I saw in some doc that  you use the guide to 'see' the programs, and when you schedule a recording, the DVR REALLY merely schedules by date/time.  Having a debate here and wanna show that but can't seem to find it. Anyone recall where that might be ?

No, but since if you lose your guide data all of your future scheduled recordings show up as "To Be Announced" until it repopulates, it sounds very accurate.
