On Demand coming - finally
Latest mailer from Comcast says On Demand
will be on in mid-April .
So what can I look forward too ?

Saved me from having to watch Tivo'd SD CSI and Jericho on more than one occasion (for free). That alone makes it worth looking forward to.
I like the selection of music videos, too.

Around here, they just advertised "Sopranos Heaven":
Catch up with old episodes and watch new ones in HD with OnDemand
Anyone else have this commercial running?

I've been catching up with Sopranos on A&E. If we DO get on-demand by mid april I might sign up for HBO for a while so I can catch up faster.

What about that Giant Red OnDemand Button that's on the Comcast remote in my kitchen junk drawer? Will they send me a sticker?
Who sits around Comcast HQ and comes up with these meaningless changes?
So forget it, Ned. You're no where near close to getting OnDemand. You're getting Channel 1. Ooops - ch1

They have already started the ch1 commercials a few days ago.
The OnDemand button is just a 1<ENTER> macro anyways.

Really? I never realized that. I thought it sent a series of complicated commands with my account information and social security number to the master computer at Comcast HQ!
If it's not OnDemand anymore, won't people get confused? Won't there be a total customer meltdown? If I call customer service and ask about the OnDemand button, will any of them even know what I'm talking about, or will I have to get a service call?

They'll first try to remotely reset your 6412, and THEN send out a tech.
