1000 Registered Users
Well, here we are 993 days after we started (2/14/2005) and we have reached 1,000 registered users.
What does it mean? Probably nothing. It is, after all, just a round number. But it is a milestone and, therefore, worth noting.
Thanks, as always, for your continued loyalty, for all the fun, the lively debate and all the good information. Thanks for doing what you do to keep the site up and running.

Dog gone it! I should have waited a few days. 
A thousand members in a thousand days (well, almost) is great. And every day an administrator or moderator monitoring the activity, keeping the software tuned up ... and paying for the server space.
