I was just doing some reading and discovered my system has a different search screen. My search has a series of 5 or 6 boxes at the top of the screen. I must arrow through to select the letter. Also, I do not have a 'Saved Searches' feature. Is my setup old or new?

I know I am dreaming here... but, if I wanted to get in good graces with the local person who pushes updates, what title or position do look for?

You can't do anything to get your Comcast guide s/w or h/w version updated -- you just take what they decide to push, when they decide to do it.

All Comcast customers are beta testers -- we just have to pay for the privilege and take what they send us.

In the new version released in Chicago, there is a mini-keyboard used for the search instead of the boxes, but you are still limited to 5 characters. It's like the keyboard used when naming a Favorites list. You can even save search text for later use.
