PPV Not Recording?
Twice we have set up a future PPV to record and it didn't work.
First, I went to the future program, selected 'Buy' and confirmed.
Second, I set the program to record.
Once the program time had past, I selected 'My DVR', selected the the PPV program (yes, it was listed) and selected Play. The DVR indicated it had recorded. But, when the playback started, there was no picture. When pressing FFW, the progress bar did not advance.
All my other scheduled programs record fine.
Any thoughts on why this happens?
My System: Comcast Motorola DCH-3416 HD-DVR (on a APC UPS), Samsung LN-T4065F LCD HD TV (on a APC voltage regulator), Sony DVD Recorder RDR-GX315, Yamaha HTR-5460 Home Theater unit, JBL satellites and subOffline

I've recorded other PPV on the same machine it worked fine.

I know you can't record OnDemand or the music channels, and thought the same applied to PPV. Perhaps they've changed something since you last recorded one -- not unusual for Comcast. I haven't tried any PPV here in Seattle.

You are correct about the OnDemand and music. It's just funny it would work one time and not the next.

Do you have the DCH model DVR? If so, I myself, have had a couple of issues with mine already where some PPV's will purchase through the box and others i have to phone in. I have also come across a few service calls with the same issue. You have always been able to record PPV channels; that is why they moved all "regular movies" from PPV to OnDemand: so you couldn't buy and record it forever.
So far this purchase issue is the only thing that disappoints me about the DCH.
