American Idol 7 Top 5 Recaps and Elimination Predictions

Does it even matter? The best singer is gone, the fidget got all the songs that were even remotely good, and the performances were bland and uninspired.

Only one thing of note happened during the entire show

Who should go?  Come on...Jason without question.  Who will go? Brooke or Syesha.

They need to go back to generic theme weeks.

Who should go?  Obviously, Paularoll

This certainly isn't a contest for singers.  I'll try to make my point allocation without regard to the performances or my reaction to them, since singing doesn't seem to be a factor.  If it were, then Jason would be toast.  As it is, it'll undoubtedly be one of the girls who leaves.

Please, please, please, let Jason GO!  That said, Brooke was terrible as well.  I know, let 'em both go...........

Paula's gaffe on national live TV is a real show stopper.  I'm still in disbelief.  I'm leaving for Germany in 1 hour and I am already missing out on the backlash.

Re: American Idol 7 Top 5 Recaps and Elimination Predictions

I remember reading a while ago that the judges get their notes together mainly during rehearsals - I'm sure that's what Paula had done.  What a dimwit, though, to not realize what part of the show they had reached.

I like how Simon tries to get her out of it.

I like her attempted save. She says the second song from Jason left her empty.  Then after realizing what she had done she tries to save it by saying she was looking at her notes for David C.  But she tells David C that he was fantastic.  It defies logic: If she really thought David C was fantastic, why would her notes say it left her empty?

I feel bad for her because she really comes off like a crack whore, but according to her reality show Hey Paula it's all due to a sleep disorder which leaves her frequently disoriented and confused.

I'm just glad she's in a job where she can do no harm.  Imagine if it involved heavy machinery or scalpels.

I feel bad for her to actually. I was a Paula fan years ago, mostly for her choreography work.
I liked some of her videos.

Apparently you don't listen to the radio enough to have been exposed to "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow."

Touché.  cool

And I really don't.  Radio was a commute thing, and fortunately I don't do that any more.
