In it was an announcement of several new HD channels to start on 3/15. That's actually pretty cool. Our local CBS is offering free games on demand via CBSSportsline.com. I didn't even think to check if they were feeding them on TV via cable. Offline #5 03-16-2007 11:51:03 AMRe: New HD channels in northern 'burbs of AtlantaNope, they just showed up yesterday. Previously there were no sub-channels from them. I griped a few months ago when they took away the West feeds of the HBO and Encore channels, but this kinda makes good for that in my mind (besides, like many said the time-shifting of the DVR makes them moot). Can you verify if they are all the same frequency? We got Disney and ABCFam a few weeks ago, but still no Science. In the Atlanta area, Science came at the same time as the other two. Offline #18 04-30-2008 5:07:05 PM

Mine is listed on my Tivo as "Braves Only". I'm assuming that it's only on when the Braves are playing, but I might be wrong. Offline #19 04-30-2008 5:35:15 PMRe: New HD channels in northern 'burbs of Atlanta
Disney, ABCFam, and Science came in a "3-pack" for Seattle. Comcast seems to be providing the same packing everywhere, so I would imagine Atlanta has them the same way. When you get Science, it will undoubtedly be added to the pack. Offline |
