Please help with a blank screen on Moto 6412

Hi there,

I just purchase this DVR and I hook the system on my TV. I  just got a  prompt "No Program" and it goes blank on the screen. Any recommendation I would appricated.

From whom did you purchase the DVR?  If it wasn't from a cable company, it would appear you got rooked royally because they're generally not for sale.
