Appeals Court Upholds Contempt Charge Against Echostar

Millions of DISH network subscribers were left wondering Thursday about what will become of their digital video recorders after a federal appeals court upheld a lower court ruling that DISH parent EchoStar was in contempt for refusing "to disable the DVR functionality in its existing devices" which had been found to violate TiVo's patents.
