We recently just moved (two weeks ago), and I now live in an unincorporated area. I haven't seen my bill yet, but I wonder if Comcast will stick on the "franchise fee" for the town in my mailing address even though I'm technically not a part of that city. I would assume if I'm not part of that city that I shouldn't have to pay the franchise fee... wouldn't you think. I just looked my bill over real good and it looks like my "franchise" money is going to the county that I live in rather than the town of my mailing address.
