Got a flyer in the mail today that says Comcast will be doing enhancements
in my neighborhood to add channels, including on demand. Maybe we are
finally getting on demand...don't know. The flyer said they would TRY to
limit interuptions to no later than 5 PM. Oh boy....I can expect lots of
resets and downloading I bet. Hope it's worth it.

Your area must be WAY behind. I had OnDemand before it was officially announced!

Yep. We are WAY WAY behind. It just gripes me to see all the Comcast trucks in our area driving around with big On Demand ads on them. I don't know that on-demand will be a big deal for us, but I hear we will get a few more channels. Don't know.

It's likely your area didn't have the available bandwidth, and they are now upgrading it.
