Ok..enough is enough.
The delay in the remote response is just about every freakin' time I press.
Then you second guess yourself. Did I press the button hard enough. Press
the 'swap' button again. Still nothing. Press again. Then..BAMM... 3 or 4 swaps.

And yesterday evening I looked at my schedule of programs to record.
3 or 4 one-time programs scheduled to record on channels I did
not previous setup. I can see if the program listed changed. But these were
during time slots I didn't previous have setup.

I think I'd rather give up the additional channels and go back to what was.
I didn't have all this until the 'upgraded' us.

I'm not ready for dish. I wish we had another option. But maybe, just
maybe, it's dish time.

Have you swapped your box yet? While the problems you're having are relatively common (I've had most at one point or another over the last few years), I think it's really unusual to see the confluence that you are seeing.

Haven't swapped it yet...just been busy and lazy at the same time. I'll wait til a Saturday morning (local office is open) and have nothing I care about losing on the hard drive, which isn't much usually anyway.
