New Shows: Fall 2007Let's use this space to post reviews of the new network shows for this fall. My wife and I are looking to add a couple shows to our lineup, but nothing has much caught our attention yet. The only new show we've started watching is Dirty Sexy Money, and that was mainly because Peter Krause usually doesn't disappoint. It's the second season premiere. Offline #3 10-05-2007 8:15:12 AM
Re: New Shows: Fall 2007We loved last season of Friday Night Lights, so we'll definitely be watching tonight. I have a feeling the show won't make it the full season, but we'll watch as long as we can. While moving it to Friday seems like an intelligent move, I can't see it resulting in more viewers than last season. It's kind of a miracle the show was even picked up for a second season, but that just shows that sometimes networks need to lead with great programming (even if it doesn't resulting in great ratings). Of last years new shows, only '30 Rock' and 'Heroes' survived. I miss 'Knights of Prosperity'. Why I watch Flash Gordon: Offline #10 10-07-2007 11:13:12 AMRe: New Shows: Fall 2007Not exactly Dale Arden of days gone by: Offline #11 10-10-2007 1:41:23 PM
Re: New Shows: Fall 2007
Down here in the south (and I'm sure its the same in the southwest), where real high school football is a very big deal, many have questioned the wisdom of scheduling the show during actual games. FNL is definitely one of our favorite shows, and we don't go to hs. games anymore, but I think Friday night is a bad choice. Offline #12 10-10-2007 1:58:10 PM

I loved Wonderfalls and the lead dude and the creator are ex-Wonderfalls, so it was pretty assured I'd like it. Offline #14 11-01-2007 1:02:49 AMRe: New Shows: Fall 2007
I'm about 2/3 of the way through EP 1 of Flash Gordon. It's not horrible, and even if it was she could make me endure a lot of horrible. Offline #15 11-02-2007 8:17:30 AMRe: New Shows: Fall 2007I'm not sure why Flash Gordon gets such a bad rap. Based on EP1, it's not the best show I've ever seen, but it's not worse than your average sci-fi. Offline #16 11-02-2007 1:12:32 PMRe: New Shows: Fall 2007
I've seen every Flash episode. I like Sci-fi and I agree, not the best. It's Offline |
