I've got no problem with this. If folks are going to keep creating content that we the consumer can view at our leisure and via different venues (web / DVR / etc), they're going to need to get paid to create the content.  This is actually a lot less offensive than "commercial breaks" if you think about it (and a good alternative to disabling the ability to fast forward through those commercial breaks).
