Liberal San Francisco talk radio host Bernie Ward has been indicted on federal child pornography charges.  Ward's lawyer immediately invoked the old "researching a book" defense, although a quick Amazon search revealed no books authored by anyone named Bernie Ward on the subject in the 4 years since he accessed the images.  If all these Kiddie Porn based books that these dudes claim they're writing were actually published, would there be room in bookstores for books on any other subject?
