Motorola 3416 outputs IEEE1399 and USB 2.0 ports Can they transfer?

I have a few great recordings on my PVR that I wish to transfer to DVD, do the outputs of my Motorola 3416 series accomplish this?  If not why not?.., I suppose I could transfer them to VHS...     sad

If your shows were broadcast unencrypted and with no copy restrictions (i.e. generally from your local HD broadcast channels), you can try this.  Otherwise, you'll need a D-VHS recorder to keep them digital (this will only work if the recording has copy protection that allows it to be copied, and I don't think it will work if it is encrypted content).  If you do need to go analog, you could get a stand-alone DVD Recorder and S-Video out to it for better quality than VHS.
