Going to pick up a wireless usb adapter and the cable cards today. Yahooo, no more remote stutter!! Tech is supposed to come out Thursday afternoon and try to fix the problem. It was worth a shot anyway. Frustrating as hell though. You probably are aware of this one though. If you push the enter button while the guide is on you can go straight to a particular date of the guide. Not as good as a 24 hour jump button, but it beats pushing the hour button if you want to move ahead a couple of days. Offline #7 12-27-2007 12:15:27 AMRe: Here, take back your DVRIt probably failed to authorize because on the dual-cable card TiVO, you must completely setup the first cable card slot before you can even think of doing the other one. Cablecard jobs are a technicians worst nightmare, because with a combination of equipment and dispatch issues, it can quickly turn into a 3 hour job for a little baseball card. And it's even more interesting when the customer wants 2 in the TiVo and 1 in the TV its on. For some reason, you need to do cartwheels and backflips to get 3 cable cards on the same account in our billing software. (meaning he tried to do them at the same time) After talking to three different people I gave up and scheduled a tech to come out (Monday now, I got a splinter in my finger that got infected so bad I had to have surgery yesterday to take care of it) I guess I'll find out Monday how it goes.
