DVR Chatter

I don't know if anyone else remembers the beer swilling Canadian characters Bob and Doug McKenzie created and portrayed by Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas on SCTV, a popular album and in the movie Strange Brew, but I was a huge fan back throughout my formative teen years.  "Huge" like my friends and I knew and could act out every line from the LP and movie.  Not among my proudest moments, but a lot of fun nonetheless.

Bob and Doug McKenzie will be returning as an animated series voiced by Moranis and Thomas.  No word on American distribution yet, but it's been picked up in Canada.

Here's their hit single "Take Off," which peaked at #16 on the Billboard charts back in 1982.
