Greatest American Dog Starts on CBS Tonight
You all know my two great loves are competition shows and dogs. CBS brings them together starting tonight with Greatest American Dog
Greatest American Dog will feature 12 dog owners and their canine companions, tossed together in a house Real World-style, while competing in a variety of challenges for the coveted title and a $250,000 grand prize.
According to a report from Star Magazine, in this competition, every dog - and owner - has his day. "It wasn't about physical excellence or who can sit and heel on cue, as in a more traditional dog show," judge and Dog Fancy editor Allan Reznik tells Star. "It's a series of creative exercises that display not a master and slave but a respectful and loving relationship."
No Australian Shepherd in the cast though. Won't stop me from posting a picture of one.
