Comcast to Expand TiVo DVR Offering
Comcast is set to launch a full marketing campaign for their DVR service featuring TiVo software while announcing additional locations where the service will be offered. Currently, Comcast DVR with TiVo is available mainly in New England.
During the investors call, [TiVo CEO Tom] Rogers said he recently spoke to a Comcast executive about TiVo's service who said the following:
"Refinements to optimize the product’s performance have been mostly completed, significantly improving the user experience. Importantly, we intend to light up a full marketing campaign around TiVo in September and upon this occurring, we will be announcing multiple additional markets to which TiVo will be rolled out through next year."
