Remote Died
Well, it only took 6 weeks and the remote died. Tried 4 different sets of batteries...same result. Comcast will swap them out, says it happens all the time. Makes me wonder how long before the DVR craps out.

My remote is slowly dying, starting with the Down navigation button. I have to call comcast soon to swap it out. We almost had a full year together, though. (My remote outlasted all of my romantic relationships. Sad, eh?)

Bummer. At least if it were a cell phone you could put it in vibrate mode.

Is it wrong that I laughed about this one for a good long time? And here I thought subtle double entendre was a lost art.

Well, yeah, obviously I did.
I ended up having to stand in line at the comcast store for an hour to get it exchanged for a new one which is working fine... so far.
