DVR Chatter

I'm getting a 60GB video iPod for the holidays this year, and would LOVE to be able to transfer video directly from the 6412 to the iPod.  I know that this will probably never happen, but I understand that the newer Tivo boxes will support this function.  Maybe Comcast will eventually be interested in competing?

Even if I could just get to the point of transferring the video files in their native format to the iPod, and then converting them while docked to my PC, this would be fantastic.

Is this a desired function for anyone else?
