Remote no response since DVR was swapped.
Ever since we had our 6412 swapped out, it seems like very very often
I have to press a remote button again but the first one 'didn't take'.
This is not the known delayed, built-up remote activities building up then
all zipping through. The little yellow light doesn't even come on. So I press the
button again. It's not the comcast supplied remote. It's a Harmony. Maybe just
a coincidence that the remote is starting to act up.

Actually replaced the batteries two weeks ago.
Maybe the angle the new box is setting in is turned a bit so it's not
seeing the remote signal as easily. Haven't tried the comcast remote yet.
That's coming up on this evening. LOL

My harmony glitches out a lot when the batteries are low. Other than that I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the DVR picking up signals from the harmony.

Yeah I never did either..til my box was swapped. Mabye the sensitivity is
not as good on the new one to receive the signal or the harmony isn't sending
it due to buttons getting faulty. I'm still playin with it.

You know, when I traded one bad 6412 for another a while back, I had less sensitivity with the new one. I've got my box in a cabinet with glass doors. The old one worked fine with the doors closed. The new one is very finicky. I just leave the doors open now. It runs cooler that way too.

Well not really. 
I moved the DVR a little more forward on the stand , it was back a bit
from the front edge. It actually seems to be better, but still had a few
no responses last evening.
